To the Editor:
I recently returned from a short mission trip to Kisumu, Kenya. I filmed interviews with some unbelievable people making an impact for the orphans of Kenya with very modest resources. I would like to help promote their causes. Approximately 3,000 orphans are on the streets in the city of Kisumu alone. One man I came to know was a former street boy, a "ring leader" who wants desperately to give back and help the street boys, but lacks the education and support needed to reach out. He has attended over 200 funerals in the last year and a half of street boys. I cannot keep silent about what I saw, and I'm searching for ways to help them.
