Nathan Crooks is a journalist based in Santiago, Chile and is currently the Editor of The Santiago Times, Chile's only English-language news daily.

A graduate of Trinity College in the University of Toronto, Mr. Crooks studied Political Science and Ibero-American studies. A native of Clarion, Pennsylvania, he speaks fluent English and Spanish.

Mr. Crooks has previously worked with Amnesty International in Santiago, where he studied cyberactivism and the use of the Internet for social mobilization.

Mr. Crooks has been published in The Miami Herald and The Times (London), and occasionally has served as a foreign correspondent for several European television stations.
