Fun job, great team camaraderie and occasional travel to cool destinations…… You will be shooting packages featuring cooking, shopping, garden, travel, design, etc. Who could ask for anything more! Sonoran Living Live is a well-established sales-based local program. The Emmy Award winning program has been around for 12 years and plays a key role in KNXV’s sales revenues. Looking for someone with live shot experience and strong hand held camera skills too. Must be able to handle multiple projects and be a self starter. Lighting skills essential. Must have experience shooting, writing and editing packages.
The qualified candidate will videotape and photograph for a wide range of station projects, including local programming feature packages, tease bumpers, sales presentations, commercials, promotional spots and programming, edit video linear and non linear for a wide range of station projects and drive company vehicle on various assignments.
In addition, candidate will work with producer and hosts to create stories for local programming, work with clients, talent, account executives, and Commercial Production with proficiency in EFP and studio productions and work with engineering staff to operate Live Microwave Vehicles and all related videography equipment plus feed stories back to station from live remotes. You will be responsible for operating various news gathering equipment, including but not limited to, microwave live truck, video camera, and video editing equipment, maintaining local programming video and music library, maintaining photography equipment and vehicle and editing on Final Cut Pro plus familiarity with digital based storage and servers.
EQUIPMENT:
Must be proficient at non-linear editing.
Must be familiar with EFP shooting and editing.
Macintosh Pro Tools preferred.
Knowledge of Betacam and DVCPRO shooting/ lighting preferred.
Knowledge of Final Cut Pro editing and After Effects preferred.
LICENSE:
Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record and provide proof of insurability.

EXPERIENCE:
EDUCATION:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Four-year college degree or related experience preferred
EXPERIENCE:
Three years professional shooting & editing experience required.
Three to five years experience working in a commercial broadcast facility preferred.
SKILLS:
Must be creative, a team player and able to communicate effectively.
Must be able to work well under pressure and daily deadlines.
Must have good creative and editorial judgment.
Mastery of journalisticethics and libel laws.
Flexible work hours required, including holidays, weekends, evenings, possible overtime hours and on call.
Must beavailable for overnight and weekend travel.
Ability to lift loads up to 50 lbs.
Lighting and editing skills must be broadcast quality.
Ability to create quality work on tight timeframes and deadlines.
