Your Voices
We at Worldpress.org would like to give aspiring writers all over the world a voice by providing a forum where their life experiences can be shared with our many website visitors. Any writer can submit an essay of 500-2,000 words. We reserve the right to choose the submissions to be published.
The submission should be an original essay—not one that has been previously published in any other official news source. The subject matter can focus on any aspect of your life. For example, you can explore controversial issues and subjects such as the conflict in the Middle East. If the country in which you reside discourages discussions on certain topics, you can use a pen name.
Only one photo will be included with each published submission. You can send more than one photo for our review in JPG format. And please provide captions for each, identifying the person(s) or object(s) shown.
There is no set schedule for the selected submissions to be published, so send them in as soon as you can. You will be notified by e-mail if your essay is chosen, and an approximate publishing date will be provided. We reserve the right to edit any content. This refers to pictures, as well as the essay text.
Send all submission ideas and any questions to Teri Schure.
