Professional/Personal Overview

Peter Tase is a returned Peace Corps volunteer; he served as a rural health and sanitation adviser in the Department of Ñeembucú, Republic of Paraguay, for two and a half years. He is a freelance journalist and an independent research scholar on Paraguayan studies, Latin American affairs and South-East European matters.

In 2011, Peter was a research fellow at the Council on Hemispheric Affairs, Washington, D.C. He currently writes for Spero News, Eurasia Review, Gazeta Telegraf (Albania), Revista Logistica Paraguay, Prishtina Press (Kosovo), Today's Zaman (Turkey) and Ann Arbor Review (International Journal of Poetry in the United States of America).

Mr. Tase has been interviewed by Datamyne, Inc., Diario ABC Color (Paraguay’s Largest National Newspaper), Diario 5 Dias, Revista PLUS+; Radio Ñanduti, Radio Magnificat FM 103.9 in Ciudad del Este, Radio Nacional del Paraguay; Gazeta Telegraf, one of the largest newspapers in Albania.
